Welcome to Walter’s Place, a 7 bedroom boutique guest accomodation, located in the heart of historic Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Walter’s Place is comfortable and luxurious. It’s the perfect place to stay and unwind when travelling to Northern Ireland.
Our charming and luxurious guest accommodation boasts class, character and stunning views of Belfast Lough. Each room is uniquely decorated, with comfortable superking beds, flat screen smart TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi, en-suite bathrooms with rain shower, and complimentary tea, coffee and water. Our aim when designing the rooms was to create the look and feel of a luxury Boutique Hotel, giving all of our guests a first class experience when they stay.
We’re located along the sea front of Carrickfergus and within walking distance of all attractions, shops and restaurants. These include our neighbour’s Ownies Bar Bistro, which is Carrickfergus’s awarding winning Bar & Bistro. They serve delicious food and drinks daily and have a great entertainment schedule (pop next door when you stay to check it out)!
Carrickfergus is part of the famous Northern Ireland Coastal Route making it the perfect central destination for your stay in Northern Ireland. Take a picturesque drive along the North Coast of Ireland starting at the historic Carrickfergus Castle (within sight of Walter’s Place) and visiting all of our famous Causeway Coast attractions along the way to Portrush. Top attractions include the popular Game of Thrones tour and the dark hedges, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle and of course the Giants Causeway.
Walter’s Place is situated only 11 miles from Belfast City Centre and the world famous Titanic Museum. Both can be accessed via a 20 minute drive or train journey.
